The strategies of science and technology develop- ment of defense section in fifth development program in line with realization of knowledge based defense

Speedy transformations of science and technology have led to wonderful changes in defense area. To such an extent that it has had impacts on all military principles, doctrines, policies and tactics. Consequently, paying attention to the development of defensive science and technologies have special importance which rely on human eternal capacities and talents as well as favorable research infrastructu-res. On the other hand, with blessings of Islamic revolution and influence of pure thinkings of late Imam and the leadership as well as the desires of supreme commander of armed forces, today the efficient and secure infrastructures have been made in our country. In this circumstances that sworn enemies of revolution have surrounded our country and can not bear the scientific and technology progresses of our country, with reliance on Almighty God, and on the threshold of entrance to fifth development program, with understanding shortcut paths, we should plan a revolutionary and mutated movement in line with national authority and scientific authority. The most important prerequisite for operating this movement is exact understanding of aims, policies and strategies which is the guiding light for moving toward aims. In this regard, scientific and technological development as well as flourishing based on new applied research with aim at strengthening for creating new products, are most important factors of future plannings which could guarantee the access to prioritized requirements and could maintain the equipment and weapons of armed forces. In this process, all defensive, scientific and industrial pillars including massive network of battlefield scene players to industrial, research and innovative centers, universities and other national potentials are involved. In this line, the scientific authority and consequently national authority would be shaped.
