چكيده لاتين :
High temperature corrosion of low carbon steel in H2S environments has important role in many industrials applications such as steel making plants, power plants, refineries, and etc. This research focuses on formation and analyzing the morphology of sulfide layers. In this work, we considered the method of investigation of the nature of sulfide by discontinuous gravimetric method. Special experimental reactor was designed and manufactured for experiments. Then H2S gas was produced with the method of Na2S reaction with HC1 in bench scale for using inside the reactor. The sulfide formed on low carbon steel surface in 823K and 923K at atmospheric pressure. Then, the sulfide surface layers were analyzed by using x ray diffraction method. The morphology of low carbon steel which exposed to H2S gas in high temperature was studied by scanning electron microscope. Finally, the results were compared with the results obtained from the shrinkage core models and the diffusion coefficient function of iron into the sulfide layers was found.
