Prisedency in Farabiʹs Political Philosophy and Its Relation with the Guardianship of Muslim Jurist

Shorhy after Imam Khomeiniʹs announcing that the guardianship of Muslim jurist is the basis of political government, Imamʹs theory was under assualt from various sides especially some of the biased, who claimed that the idea was proposed two hundred years ago by Mullah Ahmad Naraqi. Therefore, the study of its history according to the view of Farabi, a well known Muslim philosopher of the third Hijri century, falls under the heading of defending this theory both in terms of its history during the minor occultation (of Imam) and in terms of its sound argument. The article seeks to investigate Farabiʹs view about the gaurdianship of Muslim jurist. Farabi has used a meritorious method and reasoning in his exposition of the guardianship of Muslim jurist to ensure worldwise approval.
