چكيده لاتين
Equal channel angular extrusion (ECAE) is a promising technique for producing of ultra fine-grain materials with few hundred nanometer size. In this paper an advanced die regarding to the Segalʹs patent with the intersecting channel angles of 90° and a sharp outer corner radius were designed and constructed. The aluminum-copper bimetals were as processed through ECAE die up to 8 passes based on Be route. According to the results, hardness and yield stress of the billets will significantly increase about three times up to a certain pass and after that decrese. Meanwhile, the mentioned results evaluated with the aid of optical and electronic microscopes, differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffraction techniques.
