Determination of effective factors involved in zoning of precipitation in Western Iran

This study tries to zone the area precipitation and identifies the effective factors. Stations with over 20 years of precipitation records were selected and analyzed by Factor Analysis, and then the obtained data for each season were used for Cluster Analysis of the annual precipitation. Finally, the area was zoned and the effective factors in zoning were identified.
