The Islamic Republic of Iran and Efficiency Challenges

Efficiency in effect reflects the capability of management of a country by its managers and executives which will lead to the optimal performance of the government functions and winning of maximum satisfaction of the people. While taking into consideration the spillover of inefficiency to some sectors of the managerial system of the country, the present paper tries to provide some answers to the following questions: What is the meaning of the theoretical and practical concept of efficiency and efficacy in the Islamic political system? What are its features? What are the suggestions for boosting the efficiency of the Islamic Republican system as the main symbol of the Islamic Revolution? Attempts have been made in the present article to provide some answers to the said questions, identify the efficiency challenges, and offer their solutions.
