THE CHARACTERISTICS OF DEVELOPED MANPOWER

The manpower development means promoting the labor forceʹs ability and capacity and thus improving their individual and social productivity and efficiency through education and training. Nowadays, most economic development experts believe that the educated, developed manpower is the most influential factor in the process of economic-social development of countries. Therefore, they increasingly emphasize on investing on the human resources development. On the other hand, the emerging changes brought about by globalization, also have modified the approaches towards developing required human resources and have broadened and expanded the characteristics of efficient manpower. In this article the attitudes of authorities and employers towards the characteristics of well-developed manpower is studied and then the appropriate approach for the availability of developed human resources in Iran will be offered.
