تصـوير دانشـجويان از دانشـگاه پيام نور و كاركردهاي آن (مورد دانشـگاه پيـام نـورمركز تهران)

اين تحقيق به بررسي پنداره و تصويري كه دانشجويان دانشگاه پيام نور از مفهوم دانشگاه و كاركردهاي آن دارند، و نيز انتظارات آنان از دانشگاه مطلوب مي‌پردازد. يافته‌ها برگرفته از نظرهاي 105 نفر از دانشجويان دانشگاه پيام نور مركز تهران است كه با استفاده از روش تحليل محتوا به مثابه تكنيكي پژوهشي به منظور فراهم آوردن شناخت ژرفانگر از واقعيت موجود و روش توصيفي از نوع پيمايشي و روش‌هاي آماري مورد نياز تحليل و ارايه شده است. نتايج بررسي نشان مي‌دهد انتظارات دانشجويان از دانشگاه پيام نور با كاركردهاي تعريف‌شده براي اين دانشگاه متفاوت است.در مورد كاركردهاي دانشگاهي، با تحليل محتواي پاسخ‌هاي دانشجويان، 18 عامل اساسي شناسايي شد. نتايج تحليل آماري آنها بيانگر تفاوت معنادار بين نظرات دانشجويان به تفكيك متغيرهاي جنسيت و گروه تحصيلي در مورد اين عوامل بوده و بين نظرات آنان در متغير رده‌هاي سني تفاوت معني‌دار مشاهده نشد. بررسي مقايسه‌اي كاركردهاي دانشگاه مطلوب دانشجويان و كاركردهاي منظورشده براي دانشگاه پيام نور نيز نشان مي‌دهد تصوير دانشجويان از عوامل (كاركردهاي) دانشگاه مطلوب با كاركردهاي دانشگاه پيام نور متفاوت است.

This study investigates students’ concept and image of Payam Noor University and its functions. In addition, the study deals with students’ expectations and concepts of an ideal university. The results of the study were based on viewpoints of 105 Payam Noor University, Tehran students using content analysis method as technical research to provide an in-depth understanding of the reality of the situation. Furthermore, descriptive survey method and statistical methods for analysis were used. The results show that students’ expectations of Payam Noor University are different from the functions defined for it. In regards to the functions of the university, with content analysis of student responses, 18 factors were identified. The results of the statistical analysis showed significant differences between student viewpoints depending on their gender and subject of study; however, there were no significant differences in student viewpoints in different age ranges. A comparative study of student ideas of ideal functions of a university and the defined functions of Payam Noor University show that students’ image of the defined functions are different from the existing functions of Payam Noor.
