A New Theory on the Revelation of the Quran upon Seven Letters

درباره نزول قرآن بر هفت حرف، بيش از شصت روايت در منابع روايي نقل شده است؛ و در طول تاريخ اسلامي بين دانشمندان علوم قرآن و مفسران فريقين؛ بحث‏هاي فراواني صورت گرفته است؛ نكته مهم آن است كه گمان رفته، همه روايات مربوط در مقام بيان يك موضوع است؛ از اين رو در مقام تبيين مفاد اين روايات اختلافات فراواني پديد آمده است . در اين مقاله ابتدا روايات مربوط بر اساس مفادشان دسته‌بندي و آن گاه هر كدام از اقوال مهم مورد بررسي قرار گرفته و در نهايت چنين نتيجه‏گيري شده است كه اين روايات ناظر بر موضوعات متعددي است. پاره‌اي از آن‏ها دلالت دارد بر اين كه قرا ات ناصحيح افرادي كه قادر به قرايت صحيح نيستند، در خور گذشت است.

A New Theory on the Revelation of the Quran upon Seven Letters Gholam-Hussein Arabi Associate Professor, University of Qom Abstract More than sixty narrations have been offered about the revelation of the Quran upon seven letters (horoof) in reliable sources, and this issue has been the subject of an ongoing debate among the Shiite and Sunnite scholars and exegetes throughout the Islamic history. The key point, here, is that it has been perceived that all the narrations in question communicate an identical idea; hence, a lot of different views have been expressed in explicating the content of these narrations. In this article, first, the narrations in question are categorized on the basis of their content. Then, the key observations are examined. Finally, it is concluded that these narrations are related to various subjects some of which deal with the idea that the incorrect qara’at (readings) of those who are not capable of correct reading warrants forbearance.
