Effects of globalization on the nature, structure and function of cities

شهرها در دوره‌هاي مختلف تحت تاثير افكار و ايده‌هاي متعددي قرار گرفته‌اند. ايده‌هايي چون سوسياليستي،‏ سرمايه‌داري،‏ صنعتي،‏ فورد صنعتي و ... بالاخره مدرن،‏ پست مدرن و پسا مدرن،‏ فرم و سبك زندگي شهري،‏ مديريت و اقتصاد شهري را تحت تاثير قرار داده‌اند و امروزه جهاني‌شدن نيز باعث دگركوني فرهنگ،‏ اقتصاد،‏ ارتباط جوامع و... شده است. افزايش احساس شهروند جهاني يا جهان وطني،‏ جهاني‌شدن اقتصاد يا يكپارچگي اقتصادي در عصر حاضر،‏ حاكي از تاثير جهاني‌شدن بر شهرها مي‌باشد. در اينجا اين سوال مطرح است كه جهاني‌شدن چه تاثيري در شهرها دارد؟ به عبارت ديگر،‏ آيا شهر‌ها تحت تاثير جهاني‌شدن قرار گرفته‌اند؟ هدف اين مقاله مطالعه اثرات جهاني‌شدن برشهرها بويژه جهان شهر مي‌باشد. روش تحقيق به صورت كتابخانه‌اي،‏ يعني مطالعه كتب،‏ مقالات فارسي و لاتين است. از آنجا كه جهان شهر‌ها در كشورهاي صنعتي و پيشرفته جهان مانند آمريكا،‏ اروپا و در جنوب شرقي آسيا ژاپن،‏ كره جنوبي واقع شده‌اند،‏ در اين مقاله جهان شهرهاي واقع در آنها مد نظر مي‌باشد. نتايج به دست آمده در اين مقاله نشان مي‌دهد كه سيستم مديريتي و فعاليت‌هاي اقتصادي شهرها تحت تاثير جهاني‌شدن قرار گرفته است در ضمن برخي جهان شهرها در اثر فرايند جهاني‌شدن به كانون فعاليت‌هاي اقتصادي و سياسي در جهان تبديل شده‌اند.

Increased sense of global citizenship or cosmopolitanism, globalization economic or integration in the economy is to the effectiveness of the present era of globalization. Now the question is whether globalization has impact in the cities? In other words, have been urban effect under the globalization?
