A Comparative Study of Citizenship in Allameh Tabatabaei University and Islamic Azad University

«حقوق شهروندي» از جمله مفاهيمي است كه اخيراً در گفتمان سياسي و اجتماعي جامعه رونق گرفته است. اين مفهوم ترجمان حقوق و آزادي‌هاي اساسي و عمومي جامعه بوده و اساسي‌ترين نيازهاي هر ملتي را در برمي‌گيرد. اگرچه شهروندي تنها شامل حقوق نيست و با مجموعه‌اي از تعهدات در قبال آن متوازن مي‌شود اما اين آگاهي از حقوق است كه شهروندان را نسبت به وظايف خود آگاه و متعهد مي‌كند. بنابراين بايد نسبت به آگاهي همه مردم، به‌ويژه جوانان و دانشجويان به عنوان قشر وسيعي از جمعيت توجه ويژه‌اي مبذول داشت. اين مقاله درصدد است، ضمن توصيف ميزان آگاهي از حقوق شهروندي در ميان دانشجويان دانشگاه علامه طباطبايي و دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي و بررسي تفاوت‌ها، به تحليل عوامل موثر بر ميزان آگاهي اين گروه اجتماعي مهم و ويژه در جامعه بپردازد. در مقاله حاضر، پس از مرور تاريخي و ارايه چارچوب نظري، با استفاده از روش پيمايشي و تكنيك پرسش‌نامه، در نمونه‌اي با كاربرد روش خوشه‌اي چندمرحله‌اي و انتخاب سهميه‌اي، 300 نفر از دانشجويان دانشگاه علامه طباطبايي و دانشگاه آزاد مورد آزمون قرار گرفتند. نتايج حاكي از بالاتر بودن ميزان آگاهي از حقوق شهروندي در ميان دانشجويان دانشگاه علامه طباطبايي نسبت به دانشجويان دانشگاه آزاد است. اين نتيجه به ويژه در آگاهي از حقوق جنسيتي، حقوق مدني، حقوق فرهنگي و حقوق اجتماعي به دست آمده است. بيشترين ميزان آگاهي در ميان دانشجويان هر دو دانشگاه نيز مربوط به حقوق جنسيتي و كمترين ميزان آگاهي مربوط به حقوق مدني بوده است.

Davoodvandi Abstract: The compound term "citizenship rights" is a conception that has recently gained currency in the social and political discourse. This conception represents common rights and basic freedoms of societies and contains essential needs of a nation. The citizenship rights not only include rights but it is also balanced by a set of commitments. Citizens undertake their duties by awareness of rights. Therefore, it is obligatory to be cognizant about awareness of rights among all citizens especially young adults and students. This article describes the measure of awareness of rights among Allameh Tabatabaei University and the Islamic Azad University students. It focuses on differences and analyzes effective factors as concerns the measure of awareness among these students. In this study upon reviewing the history of citizenship concept and defining the theoretical framework, the survey method is used along with the technique of questionnaire, during which 300 students were selected through cluster sampling. The results demonstrated that the measure of awareness of rights in some domains such as gender rights, civil rights, cultural rights and social rights are higher among Allameh Tabatabaei University students compared with the Islamic Azad University students. The highest measure of awareness of rights is related to gender rights and the lowest measure of awareness of rights is related to civil rights.
