Sociological Examination of Challenges of Scientific Communities in Mazandaran University

هدف اين پژوهش بررسي چالشهاي دروني و بيروني جوامع علمي در دانشگاه مازندران بود. در اين پژوهش از روش پيمايشي و پرسشنامه براي گردآوري داده ها استفاده شد. با استفاده از روش نمونه گيري طبقه اي متناسب، 280 نفر از اعضاي هييت علمي و دانشجويان كارشناسي ارشد از ميان جامعه اي 1095 نفري به طور تصادفي نمونه گيري شدند. نتايج تحقيق مبين آن است كه: 1. ميان نگرش استادان و دانشجويان در خصوص چالشهاي بيرون از حوزه نظام دانشگاهي تفاوت معناداري وجود ندارد. 2. ميان نگرش استادان و دانشجويان در خصوص چالشهاي درون دانشگاهي تفاوت معناداري وجود دارد. 3. ميان چالشهاي درون دانشگاهي و بيرون دانشگاهي جوامع علمي همبستگي معناداري وجود دارد. افزون بر اين، نتايج حاكي از پيوستگي و ارتباط مسايل موجود در اجتماعات علمي و نظام اجتماعي جامعه است.

The purpose of this research was to examine internal and external challenges of scientific communities in Mazandaran University. A research survey method and a questionnaire were used to collect data. By means of proportionate stratified method, two hundred eighty faculty members and master students were randomly sampled from a population of 1095 people across Mazandaran University. The findings were as follows: 1) There is no significant difference between faculty members and studentsʹ attitude toward external challenges of academic system. 2) There is significant difference between faculty members and studentsʹ attitude toward internal challenges of academic system. 3) There is significant relationship between internal and external challenges of scientific communities in Mazandran University. In addition, results suggested that there are bonds and relationship between scientific communitiesʹ problems and problems of society’s social system.
