Determination of critical period of weed control in Plantago ovata

به‌منظور تعيين دوره بحراني كنترل علف‌هاي هرز در گياه اسفرزه، آزمايشي در سال زراعي 82-81 در مزرعه تحقيقاتي دانشكده كشاورزي دانشگاه فردوسي مشهد در قالب طرح بلوكهاي كامل تصادفي با چهار تكرار به اجرا درآمد. تيمارها شامل تيمارهاي كنترل و تداخل تا20، 50،40،30، 60 و 120 روز پس از كاشت بودند. نتايج اين آزمايش نشان داد كه با افزايش دوره تداخل علف‌هاي هرز، تعداد علف‌هاي هرز در هر متر مربع كاهش، ولي وزن خشك آن‌ها بيشتر شد. در حالي‌كه تعداد و وزن خشك علف‌هاي هرز با افزايش دوره كنترل كاهش يافت. همچنين بر اساس يافته‌هاي اين پژوهش، دوره بحراني كنترل علف‌هاي هرز براي كاهش قابل قبول عملكرد دانه در حد 10 و 5 درصد به ترتيب 21 تا 57 روز و 30 تا 44 روز پس از كاشت بود و انجام عمليات وجين در خارج از اين دوره، تاثير قابل توجهي در افزايش عملكرد نداشت.

For determination critical period of weed control in Plantago ovata Forsk, field experiments were carried out at the Agricultural Research Station, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ferdoosi Mashhad, in 2002-2003. Six weed interference and six weed control durations were evaluated in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications. The experiments consisted of 2 sets of treatments. In the first set, the crop was kept weed-free until 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 120 (over the growth stage) days after planting. In the second set, weeds were permitted to interfere with the crop until the above-mentioned growth stages. Results showed that increasing weed interferenc duration reduced weed number per squar meter and increased their dry biomass, while both of these traits reduced with increasing control (weeding) duration period. Based on the results of this study critical period of weed control in this crop for 10 and 5 percent acceptable yield reduction were 21 until 52 and 26 until 38 days after sowing respectively, and weeding over of these periodes had no considerably rise on crop yield.
