رابطه بين اعتياد به اينترنت و ويژگي‌هاي شخصيتي دانشجويان دانشگاه‌هاي دولتي شهر تهران

The Relationship between Addiction to Internet and Personality Characteristics among University Students in Tehran

هدف اين تحقيق بررسي رابطه بين اعتياد به اينترنت و ويژگي‌هاي شخصيتي دانشجويان دانشگاه‌هاي دولتي شهر تهران بوده است. جامعه آماري همه دانشجويان شاغل به تحصيل در دانشگاه‌هاي دولتي شهر تهران در سال 1390 را دربر مي‌گرفت و نمونه تحقيق شامل 1500 نفر بود. براي انتخاب نمونه ابتدا 6 دانشگاه زير از ميان دانشگاه‌هاي دولتي شهر تهران به ‌طور تصادفي انتخاب شدند: تهران، علامه طباطبايي، اميركبير، شريف، علم و صنعت، و الزهرا. سپس از هر دانشگاه 6 دانشكده و از هر دانشكده 5 كلاس به‌ روش تصادفي انتخاب شدند. دانشجويان اين كلاس‌ها اعضاي نمونه تحقيق را تشكيل مي‌دادند. آزمودني‌ها دو پرسش‌نامه اعتياد به اينترنت يانگ و پرسش‌نامه فرم كوتاه نيو (NEO) را تكميل كردند. نتايج با روش t مستقل تجزيه و تحليل شد. تحليل نتايج نشان داد: ?. بين ويژگي‌هاي روان‌‌رنجوري و برون‌گرايي و اعتياد به اينترنت رابطه مثبت معني‌‌داري وجود دارد؛ ?. بين ويژگي‌هاي سازش‌پذيري و وظيفه‌شناسي و اعتياد به اينترنت رابطه منفي وجود دارد؛ ?. بين ويژگي گشودگي به تجربه و اعتياد به اينترنت رابطه معني‌‌داري وجود ندارد.

The goal of study is to investigate the relationship between addiction to internet and personality characteristics among the students of the public universities in Tehran. The statistical sample is drawn from all the university students studying in universities in Tehran in 2011. The sample consists of 1500 persons that were selected through allocation sampling. First 6 major universities were selected. Then 6 departments from each of those universities and finally the students of 5 classes from each department were taken as sample. The students chosen were to answer two questionnaires; one is the YONG’s questionnaire determining the addiction to internet and the other was a short form of NEO that was completed by the students. Data were statistically analyzed by t independent test. The results show that there is a positive significant relationship between neuroticism and addiction to internet; also a negative relationship was revealed between agreeableness and conscientiousness. A negative relationship between openness to experience and addiction to interment was seen too.
