چكيده: زمينه و هدف:پسماندهای مراكز بهداشتی-درمانی به لحاظ نقش عمده آنها در گسترش انواع بيماری و همچنين آلودگی محيط دارای اهميت ويژه ای هستند. لذا توجه به عملكرد دستگاه های بيخطرساز پسماندهای بيمارستانی حائزاهميت است.هدف از انجام اين مطالعه تعيين عملكرد دستگاههای غيرسوز بيخطرساز پسماند در بيمارستانهای آموزشی شهر كرمان و بيمارستانهای شهر سيرجان می باشد. مواد و روش ها: مطالعه تجربی و در فاصله زمانی فروردين لغايت شهريور سال 1392 در مركز تحقيقات مهندسی بهداشت محيط دانشگاه علوم پزشكی كرمان انجام شد. عملكرد دستگاه ها از نظر فيزيكی، شيميايی و بيولوژيكی بررسی شد. بررسی عملكرد مكانيكی با مشاهده و ثبت شاخص های مكانيكی توسط ترمومترها و ثبات های دستگاه انجام شد. بمنظور بررسی عملكرد شيميايی از نوار انديكاتور و عملكرد بيولوژيك از نوار انديكاتور بيولوژيك استفاده شد. داده ها با استفاده از آمار توصيفی تجزيه و تحليل شد. نتايج: در بين بيمارستانهای مورد بررسی، %3/96 از دستگاههای بيخطرساز پسماند، دارای عملكرد مطلوبی از نظر مكانيكی، %3/85 از دستگاهها دارای عملكرد مطلوبی از نظر شيميايی و %84 از دستگاهها دارای عملكرد مطلوبی از نظر بيولوژيكی بودند. نتيجه گيری: با توجه به اينكه دستگاه های غيرسوز بيخطرساز پسماند در بيمارستانهای مذكور قادر به بيخطرسازی كامل پسماندها از نظر شيميايی و بيولوژيكی نيستند و اگرچه از نظر مكانيكی، دما و زمان مورد نياز برای فرآيند تأمين می شود ولی تنها اين معيار نمی تواند دليلی بر بيخطر بودن پسماندها باشد لذا عملكرد دستگاه ها در بيمارستان های مذكور ضعيف ارزيابی می شود. كلمات كليدی: عملكرد، دستگاه غيرسوز، بيخطرساز، بيمارستان، كرمان، سيرجان

Abstract: Background: waste - care centers in terms of their major role in the spread of various diseases and environmental pollution are particularly important. Therefore attention to the performance of non-hazardous hospital waste devices is important. The aim of this study was to determine of functional non-hazardous non-incineration devices of waste in Kerman education hospitals and sirjan hospitals Materials &Methods:The study is experimental and between March and September the year 2013 at the Engineering Research Center for Environmental Health, Kerman University of Medical Sciences done. Performance of devices in terms of physical, chemical and biological were studied. Mechanical performance with observe and record mechanical index by the thermometer and registers the device done. To evaluate the chemical performance of the devices of a indicator strip and the biological performance of a biological indicator strip was used to study. Results:Among hospitals, 96.3% of non- hazardous devices of waste, the mechanical performance desired. Chemically, 85.3% of non- hazardous devices of waste effectively acted. Biologically, 84% of the devices attained to be optimum. Conclusion: Considering thatnon-hazardous non-incineration devices of wastein 4 Kerman education hospitals and 2 sirjan hospitals unable to complete and hundred percent non- hazardous of chemical and biological wastes although in terms of mechanical, temperature and time required non- hazardous process is provided but this scale alone can not be cause to non- hazardous waste so the performance of these devices in hospitals is poor.
