بررسي نسخۀ چاپي التوسل الي الترسل بهاءالدين بغدادي و معرفي نسخ نويافته

التوسل الي الترسل تأليف بهاءالدين محمدبن مؤيد بغدادي، نمونه‌اي فاخر از انشاي فارسي در قرن ششم هجري و از مهم‌ترين منشأت باقي مانده از متون كهن است كه به دلايلي از جمله پختگي نثر و دربر داشتن اطلاعات مهم تاريخي در شمار متون باارزش و اسناد مهم تاريخي قرار مي‌گيرد. اين كتاب تا كنون يكبار و آن هم در سال 1315 از روي دو نسخۀ خطي قديمي به تصحيح زنده ياد احمد بهمنيار منتشر شد كه به واسطۀ برخي نواقص نسخ و اتكاء بيش از حد مصحح بر يك ‌نسخه تصحيح كاملي نيست. بنا به اقرار خود مصحح در مقدمۀ كتاب، هيچ يك از دو نسخه مورد استفاده‌اش از سهو و خطا و تصرفات ناسخان مصون نمانده است؛ بنابراين با پيدا شدن نسخ ديگري از اين اثر كه در بسياري موارد ضبطهاي بهتري دارند تصحيح دوباره التوسل ضروري مي‌نمايد. اين نوشتار ضمن معرفي نسخه­‌هاي نو يافتۀ التوسل، نمونه‌­هايي از خطاهايي را كه به نسخۀ چاپيِ آن راه يافته است، نشان مي­دهد.

Al-Tavassl ila al-Tarssol , by Baha’ al-Din Mohammad b. Mo’ayyad of Baghdad represents an exquisite example of the 6th /7th century Persian epistolary writing which, due to its fluent and eloquent prose, is considered among valuable texts and important documents. This book only once in 1315 Sh. /1937 was edited based on two old manuscripts, and published by the late Ahmad Bahmanyar. However, thanks to a number of defects in the manuscripts used and Bahmanyar’s overreliance on one of the two manuscripts, his edition can hardly be considered as perfect. In fact, in his introduction to the book, he admits that neither of his two manuscripts is free of the copyists’ lapses, errors and unjustifiable alterations.Thus,with the discovery of new manuscripts of the Al-Tavassol, which in many cases have better versions recorded, a new edition of the book seems much required.
